WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a very old form of healing which was developed in Japan in the early 1900's. It is Universal life force energy which is the energy found in all things. This energy is channelled through the practitioner and transferred to the client through the practitioner's hands, which are gently placed on the body in appropriate pre-determined positions.
Reiki clears the chakras and meridians (energy systems of the body) and assists in healing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. Reiki clears blockages which allows the body's natural healing mechanisms to restart. It works with all other healing modalities, medical and therapeutic techniques. It is a very gentle energy which is suitable for pregnant women, children and animals.
You lay down on a massage table fully-clothed (with the exception of shoes) and relax and unwind from the day-to-day stresses of the world.

This type of healing goes back to ancient Egypt. Like Reiki, it is a form of Universal energy which heals on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. It is similar to Reiki, but operates on a higher vibration and heals at a deeper level.

WHAT IS CRYSTAL HEALING?
Crystals were formed millions of years ago and have been used for healing since historic records began. Crystals resonate at different frequencies (like radio waves), as do all solid objects and living things. When our emotions or body parts become unhealthy, the vibration of these change. Crystals with the same vibration as the relevant body part are placed there to bring the frequency back to normal.
You lay on a massage table fully-clothed (without shoes) and crystals are placed on and around you. Reiki is given whilst the crystals get to work and a crystal wand may also be used. As with Reiki, Crystal Healing can be conducted on pregnant women, children and animals.
